Many girls in schools become pregnant at an early age due to poverty, abuse, peer pressure, lack of guidance, and limited access to reproductive health information. After pregnancy, many are rejected by parents, expelled from school, abandoned by partners, and isolated by communities. This situation leaves young mothers without education, support, or hope for the future. Their babies also suffer from poor healthcare, malnutrition, lack of shelter, and limited protection. The Second Chance Education & Mother Support Program aims to restore hope by supporting young mothers to continue education while ensuring proper care and protection for their children. Program Goal To empower pregnant school girls and young mothers through education, protection, healthcare, and child support services. Program Objectives To support pregnant girls and teenage mothers to continue or return to school. To provide psychosocial counseling and emotional support. To improve healthcare and nutrition for both mother and child. To provide childcare support for young mothers attending school. To reduce stigma and discrimination in schools and communities. By supporting both the young mother and her child, communities can create safer, healthier, and more hopeful futures for vulnerable families.
