🏥 Health & Therapy Program Prisha Charity Foundation The Health & Therapy Program at Prisha Charity Foundation is designed to improve the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of children with special needs in Uganda, particularly those living with cerebral palsy, autism, and other developmental conditions. The program addresses the critical gap in access to affordable, consistent, and specialized healthcare and rehabilitation services. 🌍 Program Goal To enhance the quality of life of children with special needs through accessible healthcare, rehabilitation, and therapeutic support. 🎯 Objectives Provide access to essential medical care and assessments Deliver regular therapy services to improve mobility and function Support early intervention and diagnosis Strengthen caregiver capacity for home-based care 🧩 Key Components of the Program 1. Medical Care & Assessments General health check-ups Diagnosis and referrals Support for medications and treatment plans 2. Physiotherapy Services Mobility improvement exercises Muscle strengthening and posture correction Rehabilitation for children with cerebral palsy 3. Occupational Therapy Enhancing daily living skills (feeding, dressing, communication) Sensory integration support Improving independence 4. Speech & Behavioral Therapy Communication development Behavioral management for children with autism Social interaction skills 5. Assistive Devices Support Provision of: Wheelchairs Standing frames Orthopedic supports Communication aids 6.
